FC Barcelona´s Mexican defender Rafael Marquez has admitted that he is currently not at his best form and blamed an injury for this in the official press conference yesterday:

I admit that I am not playing like last season, and that I am not in my best form, Maybe, because I have been carrying an injury since the game against Levski Sofia. I have not been hundred percent since then. Physically, I am not at my best. Earlier, we closed down more quickly in the middle of the pitch, won possession back many times. However, the team is putting in a great effort, and the attitude is also improving with every game.

Marquez also admitted that the Blaugrana have problems in defence with dead ball situations:

We are certainly not the tallest team around, but we must practice more, and pay more attention on tight marking during those situations.

Mexico´s captain finally believes that Barca still have a chance to progress to the next round in the Copa del Rey:

The return leg will be difficult because it is on the road, but we still have a very decent chance of progressing. This team has the ambition to win trophies.
