FC Barcelona´s Samuel Eto´o has not been travelling to Valencia. Further, Ezquerro, Sylvinho and the injured Thuram, have not been nominated by Barca coach Frank Rijkaard for the match on Sunday in Mestalla. Therefore, Icelandic international Eidur Gudjohnsen returns to the team. Sylvinho has been given the green light by the Barca medical staff but Rijkaard did not want to bring back the Brazilian defender too early and gives hiom more time to recover and get match fit. Thuram still needs a few days of recuperation but is expected to be fully fit at the start of next week. Right now, the former Juventus player is working out individually with specific work to strengthen the muscle that had been injured in the match against Atletico Madrid.
