Press reports suggested that FC Barcelona finally have opened initial transfer talks with Ajax Amsterdam over midfielder Wesley Sneijder.
The young and talented offensive midfielder has been linked with several clubs recently (athletico Madrid and Valencia among others) and is tipped to move away from Ajax in the summer. Wesley Sneijder has a contract until 2009 with Ajax and the club is expected to ask around € 12 Mill. in transfer fee to release the player.
