Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas believes the club is losing respect and the fear factor that has made them such a great side over the years.
Casillas revealed his frustration about the 3-3 draw with arch-rivals FC Barcelona:
You leave hurt because it would have been a very important victory and for Barcelona it would have been a major blow to them. It was a good chance to show our authority with a blow like that. At Madrid, we have been losing respect. It was a good result, away from home. But at 2-3, they score in the 92nd minute. You feel very sorry.
Real Madrid full back Miguel Torres hailed Lionel Messi after the young Argentine wonderboy scored a superb hat-trick and put on a real show at the Camp Nou on this evening. Messi was a handful on this evening and caused nightmares to Torres, as the young striker repeatedly dribbled past the Real Madrid defender and scored 3 goals.
Torres revealed his honest admiration for the argentine star:
The truth is, Messi is a great footballer and there's not much you can do against that. We knew Barcelona had great players and we tried to do our best, but we have to congratulate them. I think the result is in line with what football is: you can't let your arms down.
We know that we can do fine and we are working hard towards that objective. Although the squad was sad about the result, we are happy because we know that if we support and cover each other, then things will turn out fine.
