Argentine club Boca Juniors rejected an offer from FC Barcelona earlier this season for their star forward Rodrigo Palacio. Extrovert president Mauricio Macri declared publicly that only the world´s biggest offer would tempt him to sell Palacio to Barcelona.
Argentina´s media reported that FC Barcelona will sent a delegation of officials to visit Boca Juniors during the Copa America to discuss a move for Rodrigo Palacio during the summer. The press suggested that € 10 mill. are on the table but Boca do want substantially more, for the highest earner in Argentinian football.
It looks like Barca have not given up on Palacio yet and are still keen to bring him to Camp Nou. Undoubtful Palacio is currently one of the best players in Argentina´s football league.
