FC Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard has been named as the "Best Coach of 2006" by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

Rijkaard was presented with the award at Camp Nou on Tuesday and stated that he wanted to share the honour with the rest of his coaching staff Johann Neeskens, Eusebio Sacristán, Juan Carlos Unzué, Paco Seirul•lo and Albert Roca:

We work as a unit. It is for that reason that I dedicate the prize to those I work with at the club.

Chelsea´s manager José Mourinho came second, while Sevilla´s Juande Ramos was third.
