There a 5 match days left in La Liga and 15 points to gain. While many have written off Sevilla for the Championship race after the defeat against Real last Sunday, i would still count them as challenger, but yes, probably outsiders now.

Barca goes into the final 5 matches with an advantage: they have got it in their own hands with two points more than Los Merengues. Real can not fail and have to hope that Barca does.

Barca has a difficult match in two weeks at the Vicente Calderon against Athletico Madrid while Real has the difficult trip to La Romareda against Real Zaragoza. Both teams are still playing for their European places, so no one will put the foot on the break. Barca and Real have both, 3 home and 2 away matches.

The match schedule for the final 5 matches:

Match Day 34:
Barça-Betis

Real Madrid-Espanyol
Sevilla-Recreativo

Match Day 35:

Atlético-Barça
Recreativo-Real Madrid

Deportivo-Sevilla

Match Day 36:
Barça-Getafe

Real Madrid-Deportivo
Sevilla-Zaragoza

Match Day 37:

Barça-Espanyol
Zaragoza- Real Madrid

Mallorca- Sevilla

Match Day 38:
Nàstic-Barça

Real Madrid-Mallorca

Sevilla-Villarreal

I think Barca's most difficult match will be on Match Day 35, then, Real is on Match Day 37, and Sevilla is on Match Day 35.. Anyway, Barca will win the third consecutive la liga Champions in the end!!

Mr Sven, what are your reactions about the rumours in the British press that Eto'o will leave for Manchester United at the end of the season? I've always said that the three magical boys (Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Messi) will always shine when playing for barca coz barca plays footaball the way it should be played. I just pity Eto'o if he will make the mistake of signing for a Premier league club coz football there is physical and injuries there are severe. He will regret it!

to Scott: I absolutely agree and have nothing to add!

to John: Not sure what he off-field problems are, but even the board are happy with the performance on the field, Laporta & Co. seem to be less happy with off-field issues. Therefore I would not categorically exclude the possibility of a transfer, but only if the money would be right and a replacement already secured (Henry?). Barca is looking at the availability of Henry, Forlan, Toni and Milito and probably many others.
Not sure, if England would be the right place but I could imagine him being a success. Eto´o is world class and should fit in any team. I would not like to see him leaving, but who knows what is coming next.
