The last has certainly not been heard about Arsenal striker Thierry Henry's specualted interest in moving to Barcelona next season.
English and Spanish papers suggest that Thierry Henry's future at Arsenal remains uncertain as a move to FC Barcelona could now be on the agenda again, after manager Arsene Wenger could not reveal any long term plans.


With growing uncertainty about his future at the Emirates Stadium, coupled with recent storms in the Gunners' Board Room which has led to the dismissal of their Vice Chairman David Dein, Manager Arsene Wenger couldn't give Henry any guarantees as to the striker's future in Arsenal, a situation that has led to the striker beginning to look over the fence in his search for a more secure future in one of Europeans top Clubs.


After losing the Champions League final with Arsenal against FC Barcelona last May, the French international decided to extend his contract with the Gunners and pledged his long term future to the North London club.


Since then Henry´s season has been on a rough road so far. an injury plagued season and only 12 goals this season have taken the arsenal out of the Premiership spotlight.


The team couldn't quite pick up in his absence, struggling all through the season and ending up without any trophies or even coming close to winning any. 21 points behind the new English Champions Manchester United and a very disappointing exit in the round of Last-16 in the Champions League against PSV Eindhoven are surely not to the liking of ambitious Thierry Henry.


All these pressures have been weighing heavily on the skilfull striker Henry, who probably felt to make a dramatic return with Arsenal next season, but the final blow to his aspirations seem to have been dealt with the Board room red card shown to Vice Chairman David Dein, whose son Darren is Henry's representative, a situation that makes Henry more inclined towards changing air.


Consequently, a move to FC Barcelona could be on the agenda.


Ronaldinho, Messi and Eto´o... and now Henry? If so, Rijkaard should switch to 3-3-4!
