Barca´s left back Giovanni Van Bronckhorst has categorically stated that he doesn’t intend to leave FC Barcelona at the end of this season, but rather desires to stay firm and see out his contract with the Catalan giants.


Gio, having contributed immensely to FC Bracelona’s success and past four campaigns since he came to the club, has repelled rumours that he is returning to his first club Feyenoord of Holland. Gio revealed:

I am happy at Barcelona and I have no intentions to leave or return to Holland. I will only leave Camp Nou if the club´s management decides to let go of me.

Right now, Gio is focused on winning the Spanish league title with Barcelona. Van Bronckhorst is very focused, determined and confident to do so:

We shall win the league. We believe we can win all our remaining games and shall emerge champions after the last encounter.

Van Bronckhorst has been a regular feature under Rijkaards Barca squad and has been instrumental in helping Barca win its recent titles.
