Barcelona's Deco to marshal midfield For Portugal in upcoming matches
Portuguese Coach Luis Felipe Scolari has called up Deco to help upstage his opponents in the forthcoming matches against Belgium and Spain. The match against Belgium is a Euro 2008 qualifier on June 2 and the one against Kuwait is a friendly on June 5, same day as
Barcelona teammates, Ronaldinho and Edmilson will be on duty for their countries, world champions Brazil, as they face Turkey in Dortmund for another friendly.
Brazil will before then,play England in the much anticipated opener for the New Wembley stadium on June 1.
These announcements are in line with making national team selections known ahead of time,as allocated dates for international matches will mean a no action date for league matches. As a result,there will be no Spanish league matches on the weekends of June 2 and June 3.
Barcelona's star-studded squad will experience a draught of stars on this weekend as many of its players will be engaged in international matches for their respective countries.
Players like Eto'o of Cameroon, Zambrotta of Italy among others along with a host of Spanish team players in Barca will all be on duty.
