Samuel Eto'o writes off rumours linking him to a premiership move over the Summer.

Barcelona and Cameroonian Striker, Sam Eto'o has ruled out any possibility of him moving to the premiership next season.

The news making the rounds had it that Eto'o was on his way to UEFA Champions League Finalists, Liverpool, with high possibilities of an alternative move to newly crowned Premiership Champions Manchester United or off to North London to join Arsenal FC.

Which ever way, he seemed to be headed for the Premiership.

To this, Sam Eto'o, the three time African Footballer of The Year says:

These are just speculations and not news that came through me. I have not heard anything to this effect. There are so many lies about me in the papers and virtually all of it are untrue. I read many things about myself that are simply false. I am happy at Barcelona and will surely be here next season. I have a contract with Barcelona until 2010.

News of dissatisfaction and exit began to spread when the 26 -year-old Cameroonian ace forward fell out with Barcelona Coach Frank Rijkaard some weeks after his return from injury, when he refused to come on as a substitute. But all that seems to be past and of insignificance now, as Eto'o reinstates that he is happy in Barca and will stay on at Nou Camp:

I have no problem here and no form of crisis. The press has freedom to write what they want to, but I will stay in Barcelona.
