Bracelona's Samuel Eto'o anticipates the coming of Arsenal's Thierry Henry.


The red carpets may have already been rolled out ahead of time in anticipation of Thierry Henry's arrival at Camp Nou.


The architect of this is no other than star striker, Samuel Eto'o who relishes a striking partnership with the French maestro. Eto'o says:

We are ready to welcome him with open arms. We would have been very happy if he had come in to play with us this season. We would have made a very great team. Of course, we still are a great team even now, but having Thierry would have made it all so special. I really do hope he comes to be with us next season. I really hope he plays here.

Should Henry finally put pen to paper for the FC Barcelona, both the club's bench, players and fans alike will have some head-thinking to do as to how perfectly blending Henry into the star-studded Barca squad will be achieved. Eto'o though, doesn't think this will be too much of a task. He stated:

We all playing together is the job of the coach to decide. My happiness will lie primarily in the fact that with Henry in the team, we have a great player. Henry is one of the best players around and I always want the best players in the team.

Barcelona have been making steady moves toward building a strong squad ahead of next season and Arsenal strong man Thierry Henry is seen as one of the players that can help achieve that goal.
