Team spirits are high in FC Barcelona as the players and entire team brace for a brave battle in Camp Nou against their opponents.


Barcelona players are gearing up for the all important encounter with Getafe. This comes amidst controversy from title Rivals Real Madrid's cash bonanza to opposing teams in the La liga coupled with pressure from Getafe's president Angel Torres to secure victory for Getafe and by extension, his pet club Real Madrid.


The Catalans have decided to remain focused and not let anything distract them from three victories in the last three encounters of the La Liga. Striker Eto'o says:

We just have to keep working. We can win if we maintain our focus. In the Copa Del Rey, we had a bad day against Getafe but this time around, it will not happen again. We shall prove to Getafe that any team can have a bad day.

Ronaldinho and Messi along with other players also believe that victory against Getafe and in all the other matches are possible.


Messi slams rumour mongers who try to destablise the team's psychology by insinuating division is rife in the team and among its players. He responds:

We have great team spirit in Barcelona. If we didn't, we will not be winning games. I get furious whenever I hear of division within the team, because this is out of place and definitely not true!

The entire Barca club management, coaching crew and players have unanimously agreed that Getafe Must Go Down !
