Camp Nou remains alert at the prospect of signing France and Arsenal goalmaster, Thierry Henry.

Barcelona are ready to make a move on Henry once the Frenchman gives his official word to the long awaited deal to take place.

Having experienced set back in its first bid to sign up Thierry Henry last season, the Spanish League defending champions are still willing to restart talk with Arsenal on bringing to reality, one of the most popular transfer speculations so far in recent times.

Barcelona technical director Txiki Begiristain approaches the issue with a mixture of caution and zeal. He stated:

He changed his mind last season after we moved on the deal, as we felt sure he was going to come, but it did not happen as he changed his mind and remained in Arsenal. At that point, we stopped discussion. We are ready to start talks again.

When great players show this sort of interest to play for Barcelona, we have to take it seriously and discuss to know what effect their coming will have on the team, as a well balanced team that is beneficial is what we desire.
