The devil in Angel Torres continued to manisfest as the Getafe Boss lashed out once again at the entire Barcelona crew, calling them deranged, frustrated and lacking honour. The season-ticket holder of his pet club, Real Madrid fumed:

Barcelona are deranged and frustrated. They once prided themselves in their team unity and peace in the dressing room, but now this is not the case. They are disunited and shifting their focus on me and my team, blaming us for their failures.

On his accusation of Barca having a negative fixation on him and Getafe, Torres says:

Even though we beat them in the Copa Del Rey, we didn't disrespect them, but Barcelona have found it a habit to show us disrespect since the weekend loss to them. We were careful in what we said about them but they are not doing so to us. But this makes me happy. I am glad that all this is happening to them and if Barcelona continue to talk about Getafe, then we must be a great club doing great things. I feel so motivated.

It seems to become more obviuos that the Getafe players physical attacks on Barcelona's key players were intentional, as it must have been a ploy to weaken the Catalan side ahead of their next matches so as to give Real Madrid a better chance of winning the La liga, should a weaker Barcelona side secure a draw or even a loss in their subsequent matches.


Angel Torres has not hidden his intention to see that Real Madrid win this season's Spanish League Title.
