Liverpool's reputed bid of 60 Million euros for Barcelona's Sam Eto'o has been viewed as a step too far by other rival clubs hoping to sign the goal merchant.

AC Milan's strongman, Galliani has stepped into the current transfer controversy surrounding Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o as he has reportedly arrived Barcelona to attempt a physical interference into the matter and to personally explain why the Catalans have to let Eto'o where the colours of AC Milan next season.
Speaking, Galliani said:

We hope to persuade Barcelona to let go and may probably have to wait till the end of the season to fully commence this process. We shall make a direct request to Barca for Eto'o.

Samuel Eto'o has been as hot in the transfer news as a high profile player of his type should, with reports linking him to Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

Galliani says he also plans to hold talks with Real Madrid, but it is widely believed his main target is Samuel Eto'o and the Real Madrid mention is meant to act as a detour to distract attention away from his primary aim.

Eto should stay in Barca. He who complained about racism last time if he wants to get a dose of the real thing he should consider this the golden opportunity.

It would be a grave mistake if Barcelona let go of Samuel Eto'o. The boy has given all to the club and the small mis-understanding which he had with Rijkaard and Ronaldinho is nothing compared to the contribution he has given to the club. He apologised and now is playing better than any player in the team. Why does the coach want to destroy a winning team? This season he gambled and brought old and worn out players like Gudjohnsen, Zambrotta and Thuram who came and destroyed the team. He should have stuck to the team which won the Champions League but instead gumbled and disrupted the team's flow of football. If he thinks that Thierry Henry will perform like Eto'o, he has another think coming. La Liga is totally different from Premiership and for a premiership player to cope in La Liga, he has to struggle for a year or more. I do not understand why Txiki is fascinated with Thierry and the guy is now old, paceless and not too technical. He only uses pace as his weapon but who will give him the space in La Liga? Haven't they learned from Gudjohnsen? We need players of quality but not quantity in order to strengthen the team. And by the way the weak area is the defence. Puyol is the only complete defender we have. He is oftenly overworked by the other slow defenders. We need to bring someone like Naldo of Werder Bremen, Alves of Sevilla and Palacio. The boss should be careful not to disrupt the team further.
