Eidur feels he needs more action and wants to take up new challenges elsewhere.

Barcelona's powerful attacker, Eidur Gudjohnsen, who arrived Barca from the English Premiership may very well be headed back there. This time however, he is not likely to return to his old club, Chelsea, but seems to prefer playing for the Old Trafford landlords, Manchester United.

His target to play with the Premiership Champions will be obstructed by two other clubs, West Ham and Newcastle who are said to be interested in the Icelandic revelation.

Gudjohnsen has not had as much playing action in Barca as he did in England, due to the presence of other in-form strikers like Eto'o , Messi and multi-talented Brazilian magician, Ronaldinho.

I think Gudjohnsen is a much more likely signing - very skillful team player. He'd play well alongside Rooney.
