Barcelona give their own point of view on the latest transfers rumours surrounding the Catalans and Arsenal marksman, Thierry Henry.

In reaction to the earth shaking news that permeated the media about a done 10 Million Euro a year deal between Barcelona and Thierry Henry, Barcelona official Txiki Beguiristain has moved in to clarify issues from the standpoint of Camp Nou.
Txiki addresed the media, saying about Thierry Henry:

If he has the desire to play here, then we can see if it's going to happen or not. Barcelona remains the same. It is the perfect place for players who want to come here. I always say the same thing - it's down to the players to decide.

Barcelona are interested in Thierry Henry and have made this known for quite sometime now.
However, a combination of various factors have ensured the Frenchman remained in North London with his current club, English Premiership side, Arsenal.

Rumours about his move to Barcelona continued to grow and came to a climax when the Arsenal Captain told his teammates he was leaving the club after a very frustrating season for both him and the entire club and management, which ended with the Londoners finishing without a trophy and sacking one of their directors, David Dein who Henry is attached to.

All indicators then pointed towards a move to Camp Nou, but recent developments have not given substance to the widely speculated move.

Barca officials say they continue to monitor developments concerning Thierry, inspite of recent happenings.
