Barcelona officials and Arsenal Manager, Arsene wenger are said to have entered talks to formally iron out issues on Thierry Henry.
For long, this transfer speculation has been one of the most talked about, which climaxed recently with a reported legal suit by Henry's agent over false reports linking him with a secret meeting with Barcelona.
Now however, it seems things will be no more a matter of speculation as both clubs have reportedly made moves toward formally opening talks in Paris the French capital and home country of both Theirry Henry and Arsene Wenger.
Barca's financial director, Ferran Soriano is expected to spearhead talks for the Catalans, as this move will have an important element of cash involved.
A figure of around 30 Million Euros is already being suggested as an offer from Camp Nou for the French star, while Wenger does want it to be all about money but will appraoch it principally from a player exchange angle, with a planned request for Barca star striker, Samuel Eto'o to move to Arsenal in exchange for Thierry to come over to Barcelona.
The Catalan pace-setters are not likely to agree to this deal, as Eto'o is still a very imporrtant player in their plans for a super squad next season.
Wenger and Arsenal team as a whole may have bowed to pressure to let go of Henry after realising the 29-year old star may well be missing a final golden opportunity to move to Spain while his services are very highly sought after in that League and also while he is in super form as he is now, before his career ends.
