Barcelona young revelation, Iniesta speaks ahead of the Nastic-Barca final encounter.


Anders Iniesta has been instrumental in Barcelona's midfield this season and wants to crown a personally wonderful season with the La Liga trophy.
The Spanish international is optimistic of Barca's chances but says more than just winning is needed:

We know it will be very difficult and that everything does not depend on us, wether we win Nastic or we don't. We shall win of course, but we still need a miracle, or perhaps good luck on our side to win the title.

This time, we shall be watchful and careful to stay ahead and not to concede any last minute goal again. It will not be like we did against Real Betis or Espanyol where we let in last minute goals.


If Barcelona win and Real Madrid also win against Mallorca, Barcelona will finish the season as second placed team despite having same points with Madrid but losing on head-to-head record.


Iniesta assures that there will be one of the greatest parties in Barca's history if victory is secured on Sunday:

Once we secure the title, there will be a much bigger party than was witnessed two years ago and last year. I assure you it will be huge !

The creative youngster also says that Real Boss, Ramon Calderon was entilted to express himself the way he did.
Calderon engaged in a self-orchestrated victory lap and celeberation after Madrid's 2-2 draw against Zaragoza last week, a feat thought to be signalling to other rival teams that the race had been one and lost.


Barcelona disagrees and has promised to fight to the end.
