Barcelona officials enraged with false Rijkaard report from The Sun.


FC Barcelona President, Joan Laporta has quickly reacted to the news propagated by the English Press about secret plans being made by the administrators at Camp Nou to displace Barca Coach, Frank Rijkaard.
Laporta angrily rejected such news as being false and lacking any proof or trace of authenticity. Laporta addressed a Press Conference saying:

Frank Rijkaard will be the trainer of Barca next season. He will tackle it with the maximum motivation. He knows the measures taken and he is conscious of the errors made. Rijkaard, after self-criticism and being conscious that there are things that have not worked, wants to continue and is very motivated with a desire to return to begin the new season.

Laporta also emphasised that the deadliest dou in world football, FC Barcelona twin dangers of Samuel Eto'o and Gaucho Ronaldinho will not be leaving Barcelona. As Lapota said in a statement made before:

We want both players to continue to stay with us. They are players who have set the standards for this team. We want to have them here.

The English media, inpired by tabloid, The Sun, claimed that Barcelona officials had held secret talks with Arsenal FC Coach, Arsene Wenger to discuss a possible take over of affairs at FC Barcelona next season.


Frank Rijkaard has proved to be a very good coach at Barcelona, taking the Catalans to two succcessive La Liga title triumphs and a UEFA Champions League victory, along with winning the Super Cup, Copa Catalunya and others.

Rijkaard has virtually won everything under his brief stay in FC Barcelona and is set to raise a super squad next season to conquer Spain and europe once again.
