French Club continues to frustrate key defender's intended move to FC Barcelona.
The journey of French Star, Eric Abidal to Camp Nou will not be as easy or a smooth as the sklled defender had hoped. As the days go by, his club, Olympique Lyon, seem to make his dream of playing for his desired club, FC Barcelona more of fiction than reality.
The French club has, once again, insisted they will not step down from the 20 Million Euro price tag they have placed on Abidal.
Eric Abidal has publicly vouched for his own desire to play for Barcelona and have previously said:

I have met with Lyon Club president and have made my intentions clear. I want to leave and play for Barcelona. My cycle in Lyon has been completed and I need to move. I am now 28 and need that opportunity to experience more, and playing with Barcelona will give me that opportunity.
FC Barcelona officials have reacted by remaining calm, and still trying to find out the best way to solve the Abidal puzzle which has been made very complex by the Lyonnaise officials without giving recourse to a more flexible form of negoatition.
After the first rejection, Abidal had intervened in his own transfer with hopes of making the process faster, but yet another brickwall has been rasied by the French Club. English premiership sides, Liverpool FC and Arsenal are also reportedly interested in the hardworking full back.
