Reactions and ultimate sensation continue to pour in as an aftermath of Thierry Henry's exit from England.

English tabloid, The Sun, who are now gaining ground as the undisputed kings of total gossip rather than accurate and authentic reporting, have hit out at Thierry Henry again, this time, claiming the FC Barcelona star was the one who contacted Barca to have them sign him rather than the other way round. The Sun produces and publishes what it claims is an extract from FC Barcelona's Vice-President, Ferran Soriano's diary which was said to have documented and kept track of Henry's transfer chase.

However, all evidence on ground show that the so-called diary lacks any basis of being real or genuine. A legal suit may be considered soon. This will not be the first time the rumour-prone tabloid has printed error in the name of information, as the same tabloid some weeks back, claimed they had authentic information about Arsenal longtime coach, Arsene Wenger concluding talks with FC Barcelona for the contracting of Wenger to serve as Barca's new coach in place of Frank Rijkaard. This news received total rejection from both Arsenal FC and Barcelona. The effect of the false news is so great that it still leaves both parties strongly denying any such links and making repeated press statements to drive home their respective stands on the scandal generated by The Sun.
This latest hit out by The Sun on Thierry Henry through usage of FC Barcelona officials may attract consideration for a legal suit from Camp Nou against The Sun tabloid.

View below, a humourous extract from The Sun on what it claims is Ferran Soriano's private diary:

EARLY MAY: Henry sends a message that he is interested in coming.

Wenger will not sell but we arrange to meet at Champions League final.

MAY 24: At a meeting between Wenger and Barca director Txiki Begiristain, Wenger insists Henry is unsure if he wants to stay but Arsenal will not sell.

But in the next weeks Henry tells Wenger his wish is to join us.

JUNE 18: A three-hour meeting at Wenger’s house ends in failure. We offer £12m, they want £24m.

JUNE 21: New offer is rejected. At 11pm there is a proposition which Arsenal find acceptable. At 1am our lawyer sends a concrete offer.

JUNE 22: Deal agreed by 1pm but contract is not complete. We are allowed to meet Henry.

I realise how much he wants to sign for us. He was excited like a little boy, not like a big star.

JUNE 23-25: Lawyers sort out all contracts. On June 25 Henry is a Barca player.

Many times I thought the deal was done and many times I thought we would never sign him. In the end, we did it.

Taste of your own medicine...all this site did when you were after Henry was make up a load of stories linking him with a move. Now you're doing the same with Fabregas. Something like 'pot calling the kettle black' yeah?

The story about Henry's representative contacting Barcelona came from El Pais and considering how FC Barcelona uses El Mundo and Sport to unsettle players they're after this is a joke of an article.

As well as that FC Barcelona paid that journalist from France Football to write that story about Henry.

You are pathetic.

Both your club and Real Madrdi have a long history of colluding with various Spanish media outlets to destabilise players at other clubs and soften them up to signing for Barcelona. To accuse anyone else is hypocritical and sums up the arrogance Fc Barcelona stink of.

Yeah, like none of your players or staff ever attempted to destablise Henry. You'll soon be doing the same with Cesc.

I like the way you play football, but hate the way you do business.

Are we supposed to have sympathy for Thierry and your website? You have spent the last 2 years running reports about Henry leaving for Barcelona, and now you are running Fabregas stories also, pure fabrication.Fab is going nowhere, you are welcome wo Wengers, castoffs, but not our crown jewels. When you stop running fictional stories then you can comment on what others are doing, until then stop whining.

Thierry Henry actually penned columns for The Sun, so who knows? Perhaps he's done a dirty on you already. Besides, there's nothing in that 'diary' that seems like it would be untrue anyway.
