FC Barcelona has received immense support from Chelsea FC's Didier Drogba on the signing of Thierry Henry.


Chelsea FC top scorer, Didier Drogba believes FC Barcelona's transfer of former Arsenal FC star striker, Thierry Henry will benefit not just Barca, but also Chelsea as well in the sense that Arsenal will become a much weaker team without their profound hitman, Henry, making it an easy ride for an English Premiership victory next season by Chelsea FC and also an easier road for FC Barcelona to win the Spanish La Liga next season. Drogba believes that the signing of Thierry Henry will strengthen FC Barcelona and pave the way for the Catalans to rule Spain once again. The gifted Ivorien goal manufacturer was certain his assessment was accurate, and will only be proved right when the new season commences.
Drogba said of Arsenal FC and Thierry Henry:

The race is now left for Chelsea and clubs like Manchester United to contest for honours in England next season. Arsenal are already out of contention with the complexities caused by Thierry Henry's exit. I doubt if Arsenal will be able to recover from this blow. But it is good because it weakens Arsenal and makes other teams stronger.

Drogba also prasied the prowess of Barca and wished the Catalans well in their endeavours with the French International hitman, Theirry Henry.
