Barca have just inherited the disease that Real Madrid have finally gotten rid of - the GALACTICOS. Watch it destroy the team.

I wonder if Senor Drogba is saying all these lovely things about Barca in a come and get me, I want to move to you as well, type way. For the record I am sad TH has left but at 30 and with these injuries, we had to think about life without him in the near future anyway. I don't think he is past it. He will have 2 good seasons maybe at you but The EPL is different and I think he will find it a little easier in Spain than England now where he has more space and time on the ball. Good luck to him. Wenger already has his succesor in Van Persie who is also a striker that can drop deep and I believe will start to give us 20+ goals a season. Arsenal would be better getting a more in the box striker to balance our front line. If we get the right one Drogba may be sorry he opened his mouth. In all games we played against Chelsea last year we matched them or out-played them and that was without TH. Our problem was when both he and Van-Persie were both out at the same time and we dominated games but could not get the ball in the back of the net. Any team that loses their two best goal scorers at the same time for a large part of the season will have problems. Our Stats last year showed we were better when Van-Persie played and Henry didn't. So thanks for all you did for us TH and good luck. As for Drogba he has one good goal scoring season and thinks he is brilliant, other than that he is a battering ram who spends most of his time lying on the ground. Do you want him as well, he seems to like you.

I think Drogba is trying all he can to attract barcelona to purchase him. Walcott may be wanted by the catalans before him. he should shut up since chelsea tried to use money to become a great team but blantantly failed. And am sure Wenger has got an answer for you. This crap wide mouth thing morinho has taught his players well will stop, sooner than he knows it.

Maybe Drogba has forgotten how a youthful Arsenal team nearly outplayed a first-team Chelsea before succumbing in the Carling Cup Final. If he has not seen promise in such an Arsenal team, without TH and RVP etc, then he must have his memory checked, However, Arsenal has not lost to Chelsea last season except that they beat an Arsenal B team in the cup final.
Well, the season has not started yet and you can't say what's going to happen. All it needs is for a long-term injury to Drogba and Chelsea are finished. Who else do they have, apart from an aging and in effective Shev? Anyway, on the European front, with all their superstars, they're nothing compared to Liverpool, or Arsenal (despite lack of funds) have reached the CL final. The best position for Arsenal in the next season would be to come out second after Man U, liverpool third and Chelsea fourth. Saw how desperate Chelsea were to win the FA Cup after losing the Premier League title? Isn't it a sign that they were not Invincibles as they're made out to be? Chelsea still can't be considered a success with all the funds splashed out because they've not done the double on the home ground and on the European front they're struggling to reach the final, despite the `Special Mouth' at the helm. So, Drogba, stop dreaming early. The two-horse race could well be Man U- Liverpool or Man U- Arsenal.

YOu must buy Drogba quickly before Henry's groin is broken too much.

It's a Chelsea trait to mock those who they are scared and jealous of. They kept on mocking Liverpool and each time they get knocked out of the CL by them. I guess we (Arsenal) hit the nerve when we killed off their title challenge last season.
So, thanks Drogba, nice to know we are still very much a part of your mind (albeit a very small one). As for Barcelona, the proof is in the pudding. You may be building a 'super' squad (where's the defence?), but you HAVE to deliver. The pressure is all on you (and Thierry Henry's unrepairable stomach muscle pull).

the reason why barcelona & real wankers are so keen to win in Europe is because no one outside of spain cares about who wins their league.

Browny:
We don't want Drogba. I agree, he had one good season and alreay think he's the best striker around. He has pretty poor technique, he depend much on his strength. Wouldn't suprise if he uses drugs because the first season in EPL he wasn't that strong and a bundle of muscles like now. Arsenal need a top striker. Probably the best one to fit in would be Samuel Eto'o. He fights for every ball like a lion and take responsibility in the defense as well. The problem is, will Barcelona sell? I doubt he wants to leave, at least not this season because now he has a chanse to play along his friend and longtime idol Henry. Well, time will tell. Good luck in the Premiership!

sad that Arsenal fans feel the need to post comment on a spanish football club's blog. times have really changed for the worst at Cashburton Grave. to everyone in England, Arsenal are a shadow of their former selves. No one is scared of playing them anymore. Their erratic record speaks volumes. And when Wenger goes next season, watch the floodgates open...
As for what Drogba has said - he's not said anything that everyone here has already said. Without Henry, other teams just aren't as worried about them. Henry was Arsenals talisman. Now he's gone.

I'll say it again. Henry was a shadow of his former self last season, sometimes a passenger. As for teams not being scared of us, we managed to beat the current champions twice, and one time without Henry in their own back garden. One player doesn't make a team.
