FC Barcelona's attacking pearl, Samuel Eto'o is once again, angry with AC Milan.

FC Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o has wondered aloud, why AC Milan is bent on having either him or Brazilian superstar, Ronaldinho. Eto'o, who has decided to stay in FC Barcelona next season, thought that his public declaration of loyalty to FC Barcelona would scare all prospective clubs away. It did, except for Italian warlords, AC Milan. The Rossoneri have now gone a step further in ruffling the serenity at Camp Nou by making a jab at Barca's midfield gem, Ronaldinho after Ronnie went to Italy as part of his holiday activities.
Eto'o says:

AC Milan now want Ronaldinho and I in seperate instances and for seperate reasons. One is because the Vice- President of Milan wants me and the other because Berlusconi wants Ronaldinho. We have said several times we are not leaving. I speak for myself, for Barca and I believe for Ronaldinho too. We are staying at FC Barcelona and going no where. Ronaldinho told AC Milan the other day that I am not going anywhere and I thought that did it. Now perhaps, it seems Ronaldinho's words must have attracted Milan to him and they are now facing him. AC Milan must accept this fact and search elsewhere for the players they want to add to their team this summer. AS for Ronaldinho or me, it's a no contest situation.

Eto'o has been linked to Liverpool FC, Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter Milan, but none of the clubs were encouraged to continue chasing after the Cameroonian super star. Arsenal FC had the best chance of landing Eto'o after Arsene Wenger engineered a deal from North London and proposed a swap between Arsenal FC and Barcelona for Thierry Henry and the Cameroonian. This exchange failed to materialise on the grounds that Barca were unwilling from the onset to release the prized asset of the Blaugrana.

Ronaldinho had a tiring season up to the stage he withdrew from this year's edition of the Copa America on grounds of fatigue, just like Kaka, his Brazilian National Team counterpart in AC Milan did also. Ronnie went to Italy to cool off and not to tempt AC Milan, as some in the media reported, which was vital in enabling the Rossoneri launch a one-on-one informal discussion with Ronaldinho, an action that was not given the green light by the Brazilian magician.
