Deco speaks out for FC Barcelona teammate, Ronaldinho.


FC Barcelona midfielder, Deco has written off all rumours which have linked Barca star, Ronladinho to an exit from Camp Nou with the guise that Ronnie was unhappy at FC Barcelona and was also considering other lucrative offers and added incentives in different clubs.
Deco says:

This is not true. Ronaldinho is extremely happy in Barcelona and nothing will make him leave. We are looking forward to next season and Ronaldinho sure has an important role to play in FC barcelona. He's going no where. Any new suggesting his exit from Barca is false.

Deco also commented on his relationship with both Chelsea FC Coach, Jose Mourinho and FC Barcelona Coach, Frank Rijkaard using the opportunity to chip in his views on both experts:

My relationship is ok with both coaches. I have no problems with any one. They are both great coaches, each with special qualities that make him outstanding. For instance, Jose Mourinho is a gifted strategist and has his unique techniques in drawing up game plans. Frank Rijkaard is also gifted in players assessment and management. No one handles players better than Frank Rijkaard.

Commenting on the just ended season and prospects for the coming season, Deco says:

Last season ended in great disappointment for me and for everyone at Barcelona. I must also admit I should have performed better. However, we shall make amends next season and reverse our fortunes to get back to our winning ways.
