Barcelona's Ronaldinho will finally have some breathing space from transfer hounds.


AC Milan have conceded defeat in the battle for Ronaldinho after the Rosseneri were given zero encouragement by the officials of FC Barcelona. Milan President, Silvio Berlusconi concluded the Ronaldinho chase by admitting:

Ronaldinho is the most suitable player for Milan and I personally got into the transfer chase to ensure he plays for us next season. We all want to sign him but the FC Barcelona president told me that if he should sell Ronaldinho, he the Presdient will have to leave Spain on exile. How can I sign him under such condition? Ronaldinho will not play for Milan next season.

AC Milan are in the chase to find suitable players to sustain th surge in form and fortunes by the Italians which has seen them emerge UEFA Champions League winners over the just ended season. Milan are aiming to retain their Euro trophy and win the Serie A title as well this season, a feat that will put a final stamp on the return of Milano. Local rivals Inter Milan are not ready to give up their Scudetto title just yet, and with perenial rivals Juventus back in the top league after demotion on macth-fixing and bribery charges, the italian league looks set to boil over next season and may be too hot for Milan to triumph in if the Rosseneri do not hold their forte.
