Newcastle looks to Ronaldinho to boost its profile.

Billionaires have a way signifying their presence. Usually, rave making news are what the money bags often take to as means of drawing attention to themselves or their cause through media buzz and press hype. Perhaps, that is the sole aim of Newcastle United's new Billionaire owner, Mike Ashley. British paper The News of The World reports an incredible enquiry made by the Magpies over the availablity and worth of FC Barcelona's superstar, Gaucho Ronaldinho, who has suddenly caught the interest of Newcastle decision makers as they are planning to table an offer for Barca, with an aim of requesting Ronnie's transfer to Newcastle next season !! Of course, no one needs to wait in anxiety to know what the answer will be, as a NO may be followed up by a stern warning and then followed by a grand humour party !

nobody can really believe that there is any truth in this story. It's just made up garbage to fill space in a garbage newspaper. I'm sure Mike Ashley is having a good laugh about it this morning.
can we have Gudjohnsen and Deco though

Never say Never Newcastle have signed Owen and Shearer in the past and although a bid for the little Brazilian would probably fall on deaf ears at the Nou camp the new regime at Newcastle have to show there intent Deco would be a better prospect if barca sign Lampard

Ronaldinho to Newcastle, hahaha , the daft jawdees are having a laff.
By the way, like Newcastle your club lists the Inter Cities Fairs Cup as a major honour . This is not correct as it was a meaningless trophy and does not count.

It wasn't a real trophy and there were no good teams in it.
Who did Newcastle beat..Ujpest Dozsa..who the hell are they?
UEFA have chalked it off their records and website because it is not a major trophy.. As far as I'm aware I thought only the dopey jawdees regarded this a a real trophy. I didn't realise Barca fans were also deluded into thinking that the Fairs Cup counted as a real cup. At least in my lifetime I have seen my team get to the final of a real trophy and not the micky mouse Inter Cities thing.

I doubt we'd get him, i think he would be shite in the premier league anyway. Gudjohnsen, Deco and Edmilson still might happen though. HOWAY THE LADS!!!

Fuck off you paedophile, you've only won the reserves cup (2004) in your entire history.

Personally I'm not sure if Ronaldinho is what we need.

rich..i dont think you can comment on anyone's spelling mate, i had to double take your entire passage in my attempt to read your lines of apparent abbreviations.
as for ronaldinho, it will never happen. me and the rest of newcastle know that i think. however there's nothing wrong with a bit of ambition.
we'll happily take deco and gudjohnsen, they'd be good for us.

CCole's comment may be the closest Middlesbrough have been to playing Barcelona, so let's not be too hard on him.

It's nice, however that the Smoggie is questioning our trophies, when his club have only won one major trophy in 100 years.

sun starved arsehole smoggie twats, i hope the tits who 'verbally spar' on here choke, no one in their right mind in england would expect to be able to tempt ronnie from barca, including us. All papers talk shite, just NotW go that bit further, and everyone knows it. id prefer to put 58 million quid in to buying middlesboroughs entire team ground and training faccilities and then letting them rust. fucking arseholes.

Put up €125m for Ronaldinho. After that, you have to try to convince him to leave the beautiful city of Barcelona and leave for England. Good luck!

Deco isn't for sale, president and sport directors own words. Guddy you might get, but alos he wants to stay. Edmilson is injured and will be back in action October or November. Maybe he's available when winter market opens in January.

Well, although it would be good to have the talented skill of Ronaldinho, but we saw him as a full individual player, he's not good as a team mates, and naturally do not have team works behaviour, so no problem if you arrogant Barca fans wants to keep him anyway, nothing to loose with us, the Proud Toon Army!

By the way, £58 million was extremely too high for him, I should say we make a bid of him for nothing much than half of it, take it or leave it :)

And you the webmaster of this blog, you should think twice next time if you want to add anything from the NOTW, they are selling bullshits :D but congratulations on making a good shite post here and have us make comments about it!

Oh and its "geordie". and u call us dopey? learn to spell fella. Anyway...Newcastle...Ronaldinho...haha no chance, well, not until we get ourselves back into europe, thats when we will attract big names like that.

I am a newcastle fan and i wouldnt like Ronaldinho at newcastle because if he did come it would be the money and i hate footballers that come to clubs for the money! i wouldnt mind Gudjohnsen at newcastle he would be a good signing.
