Though Giuly says he's not leaving Spain, newer English Premiership links are still emerging.

Ludovic Giuly wants to stay in FC Barcelona but the French winger continues to be linked with other Premiership clubs despite the recent declaration by Giuly on his willingness to stay back in Camp Nou. Manchester city have recently been linked with interest in Giuly, as City's coach Eriksson is visioning a team to be inspired by the flank play of Ludo, especially as Giuly can also play very well across the midfield to give strength to Manchester's attack. The new owner of Man City, Thaksin Shinawatra, wants to see instant life in his investment through a solid team with tested players.

With one one year left on his contract and the possibilty of moving out of Barca as a free agent afterwards, the FC Barcelona player recently decided to stay back in Spain after initially concludng plans to consider moves to either of England or France, where clubs Engish Premiership clubs like Newcastle United and Totttenham Hotspurs, along with French clubs Olympique Marseille and AS Monaco were reportedly interested in the creative Barca star until the Ludo declaration of continuity in the star-studded squad of the Blaugrana.
