Blessed with abundant talents, Barcelona design a suitable team framework ahead of next season.


Spain and Barcelona junior team best player and top scorer, Bojan Krkic is highly sought after by Dutch club, Ajax and the request is being considered by the officials in Camp Nou, but on a half-year or at most, a one-year loan basis. Barca officials have outlined two options to aid the decision about the goal machines future. Barcelona President, Joan Laporta, says:

We will make the pre-season match tours with Bojan Krkic and assess the young players playing technique with the senior team players. If this is ok and he blends very well, then we must retain him from the start of the new season, but if we judge him as needing some extra international senior team exposure at the top flight leagues, then we can consider a loan deal where by Bojan will be signed in as a full Barcelona A team player and loaned out to return in December to join us here in Camp Nou with a wealth of experience and greatly enhanced capabilities. He is no doubt, a very promising player who we are very careful about, knowing his obvious potentials.

Barca veteran, Johan Cruyff endorses the idea of a straight loan deal with Ajax Amsterdam for a stint of not less than a year with the Dutch giants, with the belief that such arrangement will be of better benefit to the Blaugrana. However, Laporta values Bojan greatly and wants to ensure the best from the goal wizard is actualised for the Catalan giants. In addition to gaining greater top flight experience, these loan options are to ensure young Bojan Krkic does not sit on the bench for too long without any action next season, a situation that may adversely affect Krkic's spectacular form.

Bojan speaks on his preferred destination, saying :

Playing for the Barcelona senior team is one thing I have always wanted to do right from my childhood. I see this as a great opportunity which I must not miss and which I must help Barca achieve its goals and win numerous trophies.
