Argentine defence ace, Gabi Milito is elated at joining FC Barcelona.


Gabriel Milito has completed the medicals at Camp Nou and is set to sign his four year contract with the Blaugrana after which he will be presented to the FC Barcelona fans and the press before going on holidays till August 7th. Milito has never hidden his love for the Catalan giants and quickly addressed the press, enthusing this. gabi said :

Barca are the best club in the world. People close to me know that Barcelona was always my number one option. That's because it's a great club and has a great squad. I've always wanted to play here. I know the Spanish League well. After spending four years in Zaragoza ,I know I'm ready to play in Barca. Hopefully I can play well here and gain good results.

Gabriel spoke about the other players, his new team mates at Barcelona, praising the dynamic quartet :

The players here are great and the squad is presently very strong. It will be great pleasure for me to play alongside great players like Eto'o, Ronaldinho, Henry and Messi. It's an experience I look forward to.

Milito will marshal the defence at Camp Nou, with a view of making the Blaugrana defence line a no go area for adventurous attackers.
