Magical Messi is confident about Barcelona's new squad and the technical wisdom of Coach Frank Rijkaard.


Although the youthful one has been asked to rest for a few weeks, Lionel Messi is looking forward to ending his holidays and re-joining the rest of his teammates at FC Barcelona in the first week of August when Barca will be touring Asia. Messi doesn't want to miss out in any of the action, as he pictures a perfect partnership with Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Thierry Henry, along with the general feeling that comes with playing for a very strong side with newer and better prospects. Lionel Messi says:

I am very excited about what is presently happening at Barca. We are constantly gtting strongr and will bcom no doubt, th bst tam in th world. I am very happy with all th new signings, and will look forward to reuniting with my friend, Gabriel Milito.

Speaking on the the fabulous four, which is the quartet of Gaucho Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and himself, Messi says:

Selection should not be a problem. I think that we can all play together and for the fans it would be spectacular, but it depends on Rijkaard. From a personal point of view, I will give everything to earn a place in the starting team.

Lionel shone bright in the just concluded Copa America and will be missed during the two matches against Dundee United and Hearts, both in Scotland before making an appearance in Asia.
