Xavi gives his point of view after 2 days of activity at Camp Nou.


The training at Camp Nou has been assesed by FC Barcelona star, Xavi Hernandez, who is very happy with the new spirit in Barcelona and the zest of life buzzing all around the Catalan stronghold. Xavi spoke on various issues about the club in reflection of new developments.
Speaking on Barca's new signings of Thierry Henry, Eric Abidal, Yaya Toure and Gabriel Milito, Xavi said :

They are of the highest level and will help and will help keep the competitiveness high. The present Barca squad is the strongest I have seen here in terms of talent. Every year there is even greater competition.

Xavi also spoke on the issue of the fabulous four playing together all at the same time, which include Thierry, Eto'o, Messi and superstar Ronaldinho. Xavi opines :

This will depend on the game we are playing and the factors that influence the team strategy. We may play a different formation at home than playing an away match, and may also be either more offensive or more defensive in certain matches. All these I believe will determine who plays when.

Xavi spoke on departed teammate, Javier Saviola and wished his friend well as an individual, carefully excluding the well wishes from Saviola's new team, Real Madrid. Xavi says :

I wish him all the best on a personal note, but not for his team. It's a difficult position to take and a mixture of feelings. Saviola is a close friend, but is playing for a direct rival of ours. I wish him well, though, on a personal basis.
