Camp Nou's goal post guardian, Valdes is in high spirits.
FC Barcelona's first choice goalkeeper, Victor Valdes has spoken on the Barcelona attacking frontline, the challenges of the new season and issues concerning team discipline among others. Valdes who will be maintaining his position as Barca's number one man in goal, first praised the revered attack of the new FC Barcelona squad, saying:

There has been important signings for each area of the team. Currently, Barca have the best attack that a team can have. We have incredible players in every position. Up front, well, we have the best forward line in the world, with a combination of quality players mixed with youth.
Valdes is however cautious in celebration, as the talented goalkeeper observes that the forward line itself has to be compounded with a very strong team as Barcelona's opponents are equally formidable:

Barcelona will have difficult games as other clubs have also strengthened well. It will be a very competitive league, We will have to remain focussed and show respect to every team we play.
Valdes, who believes FC Barcelona lost the title last season due to an accumulation of circumstances and not due to a very bad defence, took out time to praise new defender Gabriel Milito, saying:

Milito will be an important player and is one of the best defenders in the world.
Commenting on the internal code of conduct recently instituted in Camp Nou, Valdes says:

All teams have an internal system. As professionals we have always complied with the rules. We can only answer by working hard and being responsible.
Ending with a final well wishing note for his friend, Javier Saviola, Valdes said :

I respect Saviola's decision and I wish him the best in his personal career, though not for his club.
