Eto'o says Barcelona are ready to carry on in the Blaugrana winning ways this new season.
FC Barcelona's super star, Samuel Eto'o has admitted the lessons to be learnt by Barca were heard lessons, but nhave all the same been learnt and will be put into practice in the new season. Eto'o spoke on arrival at Scotland where Barcelona will be facing Dundee United and Hearts in two pre-season friendlies. The Cameroonian star said:

We have learnt from the past. The experience of last season is still fresh on our minds. It tells us what we mustn’t do. It’s all about not repeating what we did wrong and doing what was good. We have to work hard to win a title. Our opponents will want to do important things and win on any ground and so it’ll be difficult. I’m in the best team in the world and with the best players.
Eto'o spoke on the new signings and expressed happiness and satisfaction with the current squad, showing confidence in Barca's higher capabilities :

We have a strong group which has a good attack and a stronger defence line. We now have new players that will definitely improve the squad. Henry is adapting very well as are the other new team-mates like Toure and Abidal. Milito is now in as well. These are very strong players who I know can quickly adapt to our style of play and to affairs in Barca.
On the new code of conduct at Barca, Eto'o says :

This is a welcome idea.We the players work for the Club and we follow the code of behaviour. But we’re also responsible adults. We all know what we must do and especially if we’re in one of the best teams in the world. It’s not just about being a great player, it’s also the way you are. Barcelona expects this from us and that’s why we've been brought here.
Speaking on the AC Milan continued interest and unrelenting attitude toward signing the Cameroonian star, Eto'o says :

I already said last season that I didn’t want to leave because I’m happy in Barcelona and in Catalonia. It’s just speculation. The truth is that I still have a contract and I haven’t thought about leaving. I’ve always wanted to stay with Barça and do a good job.
Mialn have had road blocks in the Rosseneri quest for Samuel Eto'o. On failing, attention shifted to another Barcelona super star, Ronaldinho but the same road block was experienced too.
