Thiago Motta and Maxi Lopez may join Giuly and Van Bronckhorst in securing other clubs.

The two Milanese giants, AC Milan and Inter Milan are all reportedly competting for the signature of FC Barcelona's Italian-Brazilian midfielder, Thiago Motta. Serie A returnees, Juventus are also in the chase for the 24-year old, who has played for the Brazilian national side and is looking for a place to relaunch his career. Motta has not been regular at Barca for most part of recent campaigns in the just ended season, and with a more crowded and star-studded Catalan side, the chances of Thiago featuring now becomes slimmer. Having failed in a request to become a free agent by asking Barcelona to cancel his one-year remaining service to Barca as stipulated in his contract, a fee of around 5 Million Euros is said to be placed on Motta who is hoping for a switch to the English Premiership, but may play in his s econd home country, Italy if the opportunity arises.

Another Barca player, Maxi lopez, is reportedly interesting Celta Vigo, who is coached by former Barcelona great, Hristo Stoichkov. Maxi is on his out of FC Barcelona for similar reasons as Thiago Motta, and may have the added favour of the ex-Barca man being in charge of affairs in Celta as an added incentive to attract the player who was on loan to Real Mallorca to make permanent switch to the upcoming Spanish side who Lopez is expected to help in their re-building programme anchored by Stoichkov himself. Official negotiations are yet to commence.
