Miguel Invites Barcelona's Deco To Join Valencia

Deco receives advance welcome from Portuguese teammate, Miguel.

Barca's midfielder Deco, who is back in Brazil with his family, is receiving some form of nationalism and support from his Portuguese countryman in Valencia, Miguel, who says he is worried Deco will not get a first team place in FC Barcelona when the season commense, and also uses the opportunity to invite Deco to Valencia. Miguel says:

I have cause to worry. Deco is a great player and a great friend of mine, but I've observed from press reports that so far this pre-season things are going badly for him. But, when you play for a great club, anything can happen.

Asked if he would love Deco to join Valencia, Miguel's face lit up and he answered :

Deco's style of play will perfectly fit into Valencia's own style. It will be great to have him join us and a player of his quality is welcome anytime !
