Barcelona's lanky player, Edmilson thinks back at missed AC Milan move.


Edmilson may have been wearing the red and black stripes of the Rossoneri by now if things had continued the way they were going has his injury not scuttled his planned move. This was revealed by the Brazilian star who said:

Everything was almost confirmed with Milan, and we had even agreed on a fee and almost arrived at the salary as well. However, I chose to be honest and tell them about my injury, which I felt was better doing so from the start. This though meant that the talk was suspended and now have to ensure i get abck to fitness and hope the injury heals fast. I should be fit to play by November this year.

Edmilson has a contract to stay in FC Barcelona until June 2008, and has not ruled a move to AC Milan even before then. Now however, the tall Brazilian is focused on recovering first, and is keen on discussing any other issues about his future for now. Milan are presently focused on securing the services of another Barca-Brazilian, Thiago Motta.
