After getting back into top form, Barca's engine room Ronaldinho is ready to commence destruction duty.


FC Barcelona's Brazilian marvel, Ronaldinho, who put up a great performance against Algeria midweek to lift Brazil 2-0 over their oponents, is ready to continue his super showing against Racing Santander on Sunday. Ronnie is more motivated than ever and says the motivation is the infectious type as everyone in Camp Nou has been caught up with the euphoria. Ronaldinho said:

I’m very happy to have been able to start with everyone else. I feel good. All the players have their feet firmly on the ground. I see the players more motivated than ever.

On the issue of a place in team which will be eagerly contested for after everyone is inspired to perform, Gaucho Ronaldinho believes in merit:

I like training hard and earning my place in the starting line-up. As with all players, I want to play all the minutes available. It is the coach though who has the final say and so we can only work as hard as we can to show him we deserve a place.

Ronaldinho does not doubt the ability of FC Barcelona to over-run opponents in the La Liga starting with Santander on Sunday:

Everyone in Barca has a lot of experience and has won many things, however, everyone has come here with a lot of hunger for titles. The team is aware of the mistakes made last season and added that everyone will be working to see Barça win titles.
