Anger seems to be the most audible reaction from Barca fans.


Many views were sampled about the match against Racing Santander. They mostly echoed along similar lines.
Fans have reacted to the draw game, with majority blaming coaching tactics for the draw. A few comments read thus:

It seems we have started this season with the same tactics of last season. Nothing seems to have changed. The players all seem very relaxed on the pitch and the coach prefers to play walking football like we did last season. This will only lead us to disaster.

Another comment says:

Why can't we play all of Ronaldinho, Eto'o, Messi and Henry all at once ? Ronaldinho can act as support to the three strikers of Messi, Eto'o and Henry. I just don't understand all this and it's getting frustrating !

Some believe Giovanni's absence mattered:

Giovanni would have brought more spice to the attack. Our forward line looked to lack any bite and very serious intentions of scoring. I guess the coach still needs more work from last season.

Some believe that:

We may not win anything this season if we continue to play this way. Last season, we were runners up. This season looks like it will be far worse off !

Some compare Barca to what Madrid was some seasons ago:

We are rapidly becoming the unproductive star-studded team Real Madrid were some years ago. My fear is that if we go down to this level, it will take us more time to regroup and come back into full reckoning. I don't like the way things are going at all and I must say I am not happy with the coaching tactics and playing pattern.

A somewhat different view believes that:

We played a good game, but met with a very technical Santander side. It was up to us to prove our quality by unlocking their strategy.
