Iniesta sees brighter days ahead for FC Barcelona.

In his own reaction to the weekend match against Racing Santander, Andres Iniesta was positive about subsequent results from Barcelona. The Spanish International doesn't believe coach Frank Rijkaard lacked the right tactics, but rather identifying other external factors for the poor result. The pre-season, according to Iniesta, has a part to play in the outcome of the Santander game, as the creative midfielder said the fatigue from the long trips were yet to wear off:

We lack movement in attack and that has to be improved. We have to be self-critical. Yesterday we played a bad match. There was no freshness. This means that the team isn’t quite right. With our day-to-day work and with training I’m convinced the team will reach it’s best standard.

Iniesta does not believe this wil be the trend for Barca this season, as many matches are still ahead and many chances to improve abound:

You have to take something positive from everything that is bad. These things can go well because now we know that every game will be difficult to win. I like to take the positive aspects from all negative things and if that helps us to learn then it’s welcome. Last year, thinking that we would win every match easily killed us off. I hope that doesn’t happen this year.

Andres doesn't see any point worrying about Barca's opponents and rivals, as he believes FC barcelona are still the team to beat:

If we’re at 100%, we’re difficult to beat. With our quality, if we’re in good form, it’s not necessary to worry about the opponent. It’s more about us that about the opponent.
