Postponed Champions League match now fixed for September 3rd.

A new date has been set for the Champions league clash between Sevilla and AEK Athens, which was postponed as a result of the unfortunate death of FC Sevilla player, Antonio Puerta. The new date for the match has been fixed for September 3rd. On a night clubs like Liverpool FC, Lazio and Glasgow Rangers all qualified for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League, Sevilla had to mourn their player and stay out of this evening's Champions League match in Puerta's honour. AC Milan, who are also billed to face the Spanish team in a clash of superiority, have offered to postpone their Super Cup match with Sevilla in honour of the late Antonio. Real Madrid have also potponed their Bernabeu trophy match against Sevilla in light of Puerta's demise.
