2 months of no action for Cameroonian star Eto'o.
Samuel Eto’o who suffered a partial tear of the tendon in the rear of his right thigh during last night’s game, will be out of action for as much as 8weeks ( 2 months) even as club doctors are trying to determine the best treatment for the Barca star striker. In a statement issued by FC Barcelona team of doctors, the details were given as seen below:
The injury has been confirmed by tests carried out today at the Clínica Asepeyo in Sant Cugat. The correct treatment for the player’s recovery will be determined over the next few hours and a decision made as to whether any surgical intervention is needed. In any case, treatment is expected to keep the player out of training for eight weeks.
The Barcelona forward line will now witness Lionel Messi, Thierry henry and Rnaldinho all in top showing, even as Mexican starlet Giovanni Dos Santos and Spanish teen sensation, Bojan Krkic are very viable attacking options as well.
