Argentine star, Gabriel Milito is not bedazzled at the two wins in the first two matches by Real Madrid.

Former Real Zaragoza defender, Gabriel Milito was asked if he was surprised by Real Madrid's performance after the La Liga defending woke from a shoddy pre-season performance to register two consecutive victories in the first two matches of the Spanish Primera. Milito saw nothing special in the Los Merengues, adding that FC Barcelona were equally a great side who were also ding well

We know that Madrid have a great team and that it has good players, so their manner of victory on Sunday was not all that strange. But we also had a great match. We are great team and have gotten good results. Our progress this season has been ok.

Speaking on FC Barcelona's own match at the weekend, Gaby was satisfied with the outcome:

We played a difficult rival and won. I think we got a good result against Athletic. I'm excited to play in Barca because I'm surrounded by good players and I look forawrd to building up an understanding with them. And in my opinion Puyol is looking brighter ever day, running well, recovering from injury, and I'm glad. After all, he's the captain, and very important for the
Milito also commented on Barca's opponents in the

Champions League group stage, namely Lyon, Stuttgart and Glasgow Rangers:

We have a very difficult group. Two of the teams were champions of their league last season, and Rangers of Glasgow will be tough to play in Scotland. They are always tough to beat in their home ground.
