Things continue to rumble over the the differing interests between clubs and countries of international stars.

President Laporta has a valid point, countries should at least shoulder the cost implications of precious players getting injured while on international duty.

However the clubs owe the national teams who made those players popular and worthy to be sold to the best clubs in the world for mind-blowing prices
