Mixed feelings come to the fore as Levante's helmsman expresses cautious confidence.


Levante’s coach Resino is not so comfortable with a visit by FC Barcelona. The coach, who doesn’t hide his respect and fear for the Catalan giants, is worried that the stars of Barca might shine just too bright for his own team in Saturday’s La Liga clash. Scrambling for the ideal match strategy, Resino says:

We shall play as a team and look out for everyone while sticking to our pattern. We're not going to defend against individual players, because if we wanted to mark anyone of the skillful Barca players, for instance, Lionel Messi, we'd need to use five men. We'll defend well, collectively, not as individuals, with plenty of defensive cover and assistance. Logically we'll push on the attack without reserve, with freedom, and without fear. We shall strive try to win the psychological battle through the forwards.

Resino still believes that inspite of all the odds against his side, Levante will carry the day and secure victory against Barcelona tonight:

Levante will defeat Barcelona. We're not far away from a win. Everything seems dark at the moment, but tomorrow's an ideal day to pick up a victory against the best team of the world. If you can beat Barcelona, you can beat anyone.
