FC Barcelona meastro achieves international landmark.
When Ronaldinho files out against Colombia in Bogota for the 2010 World Cup qualifiers for Brazil, the FC Barcelona star would have completed honouring his 100th call up for his country. Ronaldinho was first called up for national service back at the 1999 Copa América when he was18 year-old. Since then Ronaldinho Gaúcho has played 83 games in the Canarinha shirt, scoring 33 goals in the process and winning several pieces of silverware for Brazil, the most memorable being the Fifth World Cup victory in 2002 after The Samba Boys defeated Germany 2-0 in the final played in Japan. The FC Barcelona star says of his landmark achievement of 100 call-ups:

Managing to stay in the seleção during so long is a cause for happiness. There’s no better way to celebrate than by winning against Colombia and then doing the same in Maracanã.
After Colombia, Brazil will also play Ecuador in its next World Cup qualifying match in the Maracana Stadium, Rio de Janeiro.
