The much awaited goal by Thierry Henry finally came against Almeria. Club president Laporta is not left out in the relief and satisfaction, while expressing worry over the rising state of fatigue among key Barca players.
FC Barcelona's president Joan Laporta has ever since Sunday, been delighted with the goal scored by French playmaker, Thierry Henry, after the goalscorer opened scores for Barca against Almeria to bring his total goal tally to 4 goals in the La Liga. Henry had not scored again since he got a hattrick for Barca and fans became worried about the constant rain of goals by Henry outside Barca, like when he plays for the French national team. Supporters also wanted a constant goal rain from Henry in Barca as well. Laporta was among the people who craved for this, and happily said about the goal:

The goal came at the right time. Scoring that goal at the Camp Nou is very good for Thierry to gain more confidence. But even though, with or without the goal, the truth is that he played a great match, and we are very happy with him.
Laporta also blamed fatigue for the general dip in form by Barca, as the crowded schedule for both local and foreign match appearances was getting too much for the star-studded squad:

The players are fatigued. They are in constant demand by both the club and their countries. The accumulation of matches is clearly noticeable. We face teams who have their players much more rested than ours, and it is obvious that our players lack strength. As well as this, players like Zambrotta, Toure, and Marquez returned from injury. They played very well, but it is evident that they need more time to adapt to return to their best. There’s no doubt the best thing about the match was the result. We picked up the three points, and that was the most important thing, because we really needed them. But it cost us a lot. Almeria played very well. They demonstrated that they are very difficult rivals. I think overall, the match was very entertaining. It was a good result.
