Two French internationals, Thierry Henry and Eric Abidal to miss La Liga clash due to injury.


Thierry Henry will not increase his goal haul in the La Liga against Valladolid, as the playmaker has been sidelined due to injury and will not be playing in the match against the Primera rival club. The French forward has peritendinitis in the Achilles tendon on his left leg. Henry is being kept under close survelliance by Barca team doctors so as to know the extent to which the injury will get to and how long the French man will have to be out of active football. Abidal has a knock on his right ankle and is also not fit enough to play against Valladolid The defender picked up the injury in the first half of the win against Almería at the weekend.


In their place, Santi Ezquerro and Lilian Thuram have been called up respectively to fill the positions, while it looks likely that goalmachine, Bojan Krkic will star in the match in the absencee of Thierry. The full FC Barcelona squad to play Valladolid is includes:
