Frank Rijkaard is not concerned about news of his exit.

Barca's manager Frank Rijkaard has indicated he's not at all worried about press-initiated rumours to distract him from his job as FC Barcelona's coach, explaining that the great club is simply undergoing the normal process encountered by any football club around the world. The past few weeks have been hectic for Rijkaard, with the press suggesting the Dutchman was on his way out of Camp Nou, even going further to conduct a pol that rated Ex-Chelsea FC manager, Jose Mourinho as the most preferred possible replacement for Rijkaard. To all these, Rijkaard says:

I've heared all that's being said. The rumours about my future do not affect me. This is the mechanics of football and happens in all great clubs. People demand a lot and with good reason. I work with great desire and a lot of confidence in the squad.Sincerely, I have not thought about if my position is in danger after the bad results. If you think about things that can happen, it doesn't help you. You must keep in the present moment, to react, act, anticipate and train. My focus is on wining titles with Barca this season and I won't let anything distract me from that.

Rijkaard's contract with FC Barcelona expires in 2009, after which the Duthman is due to leave, but has been asked by Barca President Joan Laporta to extend his contract as coach of the Blaugrana.
